Westchester after the rain

There was a thunderstorm this morning so I stayed home and caught up with a few things. The sun came out in the afternoon. So, after lunch, I headed out to do a few quick errands. By that time, it wasn't worth going very far for geocaches so I just went to Westchester. Got a bunch of those, mostly in Yonkers.

The last geocache of the day was in City Island in the Bronx. So I decided to see whether the fish fry place at the end of City Island that I last visited years ago was still there. Indeed, it was there and still very much as dingy and crowded as I remember. I had fried whiting.

Two weeks of no caches for me.

Plan on at least 20 over my trip to Anthrocon, mostly in a dense area near I-81 and I-76 as I have not hit that area before.

I'll be using I-80 again. This time, I should know every town along the way.
