I'm back in Jersey so I had to shelve the "moving out" project for a bit and attend to a few items that came up while I was away. I had a bunch of books listed in my Amazon Seller account and one of those books sold while I was away. My first Amazon sale! So I shipped it out yesterday morning. Also needed to do some banking. Then I went to Saddle River County Park in Paramus for the It's my party and I'll cache if I want to geocache. Went for it in the rain but it wasn't far from parking so that's not too bad.

This morning, I went to the bank again to check the car title in the safe deposit box. I'll need to re-title/re-register it after the move. Then I went for two geocaches in Rutherford, Kip Center and Memorial Field. This was again in the rain because we're getting hit by Tropical Storm Danny. But again, neither cache was too far from parking and the rainy weather brought the temperature down to a cool 66°F.

Filled up at the Valero gas station in Hasbrouck Heights. The pump attendant had the nerve to ask for a dollar tip for doing nothing more than pumping gas. He didn't even offer to clean the windshield or check the engine oil. This is one aspect of NJ that I'm tired of. I've gotten to the point where I'll gladly pay a little more for gas if I can pump it myself and not have to deal with anyone.

Saddle River County Park

It was another 46°F day and it was cloudy too. A new geocache just got listed today so I went for it. It was Tongue Twisters for Matthew at Saddle River County Park in Glen Rock. It's rated 3 stars for terrain because one has to bushwhack through a brushy and uneven wooded area, but it really wasn't that bad. I know I've seen worse. Anyway, I found the cache quickly and was first to sign the log.

After that, I needed to get lunch. Rather than going to the Paramus Park Mall food court to get something, I decided instead to get takeout from the Chinese supermarket in River Edge. It would've cost about the same either way but I think this is the better choice.

I found out that the Medco annual meeting will be held just down the road from work. I only have a couple of shares from the Merck spinoff but that's enough for an admission ticket. Since it's so near and since I have lots of time off this year (I'll have to explain this later), I'm intrigued enough to attend. Now I have five weeks to figure out where I put my business casual attire. :)
