Central NJ and Lehigh Valley

It was a day very similar to Sunday. I did the same arc towards Lehigh Valley, except that I cut across New Jersey a bit further to the South, along US-22, this time. If I keep doing this, I can finish all the geocaches one slice at a time. Until they put new ones out, of course.

More problems with vegetation. Plant growth at some cache sites in Whitehall and Catasauqua was very dense. I was wading through thigh-high weeds at one point. The danger here is tall weeds can conceal gopher holes, so I had to be careful. I tested each step with my walking stick and I also pushed some of the weeds aside to clear the way. Then I pushed more weeds down while looking for the geocache, only to discover that I had been beating on the wrong side of the bush!

Went to Arby's for both lunch and dinner, by chance both times. The first time was when I made a wrong turn and ended up at Arby's in Watchung. So I figured since it was around lunch time, I might as well eat there first and then complete the U-turn. The second time was because the last cache of the day happened to be within sight of Arby's at Village West in Allentown. One good thing they have now is the "Pick 5 for $5.95" deal. It's not a bad deal because if you wish, you can pick sandwiches for all five items and that would be very filling. I went with one drink, one curly fries, and three sandwiches, which was still quite a substantial meal.
