SEPAG Storms the Castle VII
Aug. 2nd, 2010 03:37 am80-85°F and rainy. I went to Doylestown Central Park for the SEPAG Storms the Castle VII geocaching event. I think I skipped the last two years of this event because it was too long of a drive but this time, I'm a bit closer. The only problem today was part of Wells Road was closed, making access to this park tricky. I had to go all the way around to find a way in, but once there, I saw the familiar castle and picnic pavilion. Attendance seems a bit smaller this time, but the picnic spread was no less impressive. I sampled some picnic foods and more picnic foods. Midway through the picnic, we had a thunderstorm and quite a bit of rain. Now, that's taking "storms the castle" literally!
After the event, we dispersed. I went geocaching to the north and northeast in Doylestown, Buckingham, Holicong, and Lahaska. However, I didn't come across any other geocachers until nearly the end of the day when I ran into bikebill77 at two cache sites because we were both finishing all the geocaches in the Peddler's Village area.
