Back to NJ Tour III - Galloping Gourmands
Jul. 20th, 2010 02:42 amSunny and 90-95°F. Yes, it's the 3rd consecutive day of geocaching in New Jersey. This time, I planned on going to "The Galloping Gourmands - A Dinner Event" geocaching event at Cici's Pizza in Cherry Hill. On the way there, I geocached in Logan Township, Bridgeport, Gibbstown, and Mantua. Most of today's geocaches were in Gibbstown because Moliveri has been active in placing those around his town. The geocaches in Logan were longer walks with a fair number of biting flies so I did what I could and moved on to the next town.
Arrived at Cici's Pizza in the evening. There's no party room at this restaurant so we were spread over the dining area. Even though I got there half an hour after the event started, my table somehow became the travel bug exchange table. Anyway, I had pizza, more pizza (because the first 6 slices weren't enough), a selection of dessert items, and soup and salad. (in a vain attempt to make this meal healthy :) )
After the event, a bunch of us headed out to find two new geocaches nearby before splitting up and going our separate ways.
( The caches... )
