Isolated Friday

I should have taken today off from work too.
Visited the Lockerbie geocache in the evening. It's in a residential area in Ramsey, just a few miles from home. As the name of the geocache suggests, there is a plaque in the park on the Lockerbie Pan Am Flight 103 bombing.
One thing I learnt from Thursday morning at 3am is there should be a pair of pliers in the car. My fingers are just too big to pull out a blown fuse from the bank of fuses in the compartment below the steering wheel. So I went to Home Depot in Mahwah to get a pair. Man, they have dozens of varieties of pliers! I got their smallest pair, which is the correct size for this job. So now, the old pair of pliers can be returned to my bedside, where I use them for adjusting the alarm clock. (The knobs are really hard to turn. My life is plagued by substandard devices. :) )
Also ordered a new cigarette lighter phone charger from an Amazon vendor. I'm still amazed that all the accessories for this phone are around $3 a piece. Something else I noticed is the phone will recharge on USB power, so in a pinch, I could also recharge it by plugging it into my notebook computer with a mini-USB cable.
