Lehigh Valley Breakfast Event
Feb. 26th, 2007 07:07 amWoke up early to get to the WHAT'S FOR BREAKFAST? geocaching event in Hellertown, Pennsylvania, by 9am. It was at the Saucon Valley Diner and there were enough of us going that we had the back room of the diner reserved. It was a breakfast buffet setup with copious supplies of bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages, french toast, pancakes, and potatoes from the diner kitchen. Saw lots of the Lehigh Valley regulars. Some people whom I saw last weekend at the Chinese New Year event in Exton were at this event too.
After that, I went out geocaching in the area. The parks had a lot of ice and snow. Even so, I ran into other geocachers from the event at the four closest geocaches in the town. We did a few geocaches as a group. Then I went my own way and continued geocaching towards the East of the Lehigh Valley. When the snow started coming down, I left the area and went home. I probably did not have to leave as soon as there was snow because it hadn't started snowing yet in Northern NJ, but it's better to be a bit ahead of the snowstorm.
