Feb. 13th, 2003 01:07 amNew friends. Welcome aboard,
warskunk and
ravidwolf. :)
New Limpidity uploaded this morning.
I received an invitation to a Where's George gathering in Bartlesville, OK on August 16, 2003. At this time, I do not know if they have a web page or an announcement in the message forums for it or I'd link that. I doubt I'd be able to attend though. Oklahoma... that's a lot of states away from New Jersey. :)
There may be a panel on geocaching at I-CON. (March 28-30, SUNY Stony Brook campus in Long Island)
jbadger is putting it together and if it happens, I'll be one of the panelists.
Looks like the snow this weekend will affect Sunday's geocaching meet but not Saturday's Where's George meet. I'm planning on puttering around in the Philly area for a bit picking up some new geocaches. And I have a 3-day weekend. Yay!
Saw this on the Drudge Report earlier today:
Some U.S. lawmakers want to ban French water, wine and move troops from Germany
So if the French have a difference of opinion, we punish them by imposing trade sanctions? Not a good precedent to set.
