That would be [livejournal.com profile] digeri. I think I knew him from as early as 1996/1997 and we actually met up before the first Anthrocon. Everyone else on my friends list I got to know later.

It should be noted however, that I heard of [livejournal.com profile] plushlover earlier. He was active in some Usenet newsgroups in the early 90s. I didn't know about the connection until much later though when he mentioned the name that he used to go by on newsgroups.

My first entry was on preparations for Anthrocon 2002. Back in those days, Livejournal still used invite codes and I'd only just gotten an invite code from [livejournal.com profile] digeri the night before.

Save IE6. It's one of the few jokes I still remember a week after the date, so it's pretty good.

I don't think my answers to these questions will be all that surprising. I don't look forward to Monday, although usually, it isn't that bad. I look forward to Saturday because it's the start of another weekend.

Mathematics was my favorite subject back then. I was consistently at the top of the class and won 3rd place in a national contest once, which was no mean feat considering the competition back in the old country. Do I use it now? Yes, every day (Who doesn't?), although I'll admit I do most of the calculations on computer these days and I don't remember a lot of the advanced stuff.

Sledge Hammer. He might not do anything terribly helpful, but at least it'll be funny and violently destructive. :)

That's actually not an answer that fits the "afoul of the law" part of the question since he's a police detective. So if I need someone from the private sector, my choice would be The Equalizer for that 80s cool factor. I'm surprised I still remember those TV shows.

I had a few outstanding issues early in March, including the dented bumper from the February accident and the misdelivered package, but everything was fine by the second week. Then it was back to the good stuff. Mostly though, I've been busy. I hadn't even had time to work on most of my photos.

Of course. I don't say nearly as much in person as I write online. It's not for lack of trying though. Far too many people I find like to hear themselves talk so I can't get a word in edgewise in conversation, whereas online, what I write goes out the same as what anyone else writes, or maybe more so because feed aggregators such as Friendfeed pick it up. (Whether people read it is another matter. :) )

I haven't had many jobs. I've only had three and the first two were for pocket change, really. So I'll answer newspaper delivery. I delivered the New York Times on campus for one semester. I did that every Saturday and Sunday for $36 per weekend. The worst part was having to wake up at the crack of dawn. The second worst part was the weight of the Sunday papers. On the plus side, there were always a bunch of newspapers left over so I got a free copy every time and after about an hour's work, I had the rest of the day to do as I please.

I was doing a mascot gig at Kidz Expo at Empire State Plaza in Albany this afternoon. A parent wanted to take a photo so I knelt down to pose on the same level as the kid. The kid turned to me and said "I like your fur." Okay, so that may not be the best compliment ever but it was cute and totally unexpected. (and also strange in any other context :) ) See, [livejournal.com profile] wildfox34? Your old husky suit is still a hit with the public.

I don't have text message service in my calling plan. Actually, I prefer to use wireless web. I can access Twitter, Plurk, Friendfeed, Livejournal, and much more using Opera Mini, although interaction is limited because it's hard to type on the keypad.

Yes, I have. I usually get INTJ, but sometimes INTP, on those tests. INTJs are typically engineers who have trouble dealing with people. Yeah, unfortunately, that fits.

I remember learning how to tell the time on an analog clock at the age of 2. It was around 2pm at that time. I also remember that my mother only had to tell me what the hands meant once and I understood right away. I wish I could learn that quickly now.

Stay up late. I always seem to do that, like I'm doing now, for instance!

Gluttony. I could always use more photos for the food photoset. :)

Yes. When I go to a restaurant, it's nearly always on my own unless I'm attending a geocaching event or going to an after-gig meal.

Addendum: I read some of the other answers to this question. I don't think eating alone is any better or worse than eating with others. It's different and it is what it is. I can say that there are significant trade-offs for having company along. There's more planning to do, people might be too late or too early, and there's sometimes one person in the bunch who is being annoying and making a big issue of my food photography. Also, splitting the check can be tricky.

Organ donation would make the most sense. Other than that, I don't think I would care or have any say in the matter.

Why would one want to do that? It sounds like a raw deal too. You did all the changing; the celebrity didn't have to do anything and probably wouldn't go along with it anyway.
